Open Play Team Member – Part-Time
Location: Wild Child Indoor Playspace
Schedule: Monday–Friday (must be available at least 4 weekdays)
Shifts: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM or 2:30 PM–6:00 PM

Job Overview
Wild Child Indoor Playspace is seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Open Play Team Member to support our weekday Open Play sessions. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and families, while also supporting party preparation as needed.
The ideal candidate has a fun, bright personality, strong customer service skills, and takes pride in keeping spaces organized and running smoothly. We value team members who take initiative, think creatively, and enjoy contributing new ideas to improve the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain the entire facility, including:
Jungle gym
Pretend play town areas
Soft play
Café
Party rooms
Kitchenette
Lobby and front desk
Office and stock/supplies areas
Clean continuously throughout shifts and between Open Play sessions
Check in guests for Open Play and provide excellent customer service to families
Answer phone calls and respond professionally to guest inquiries
Call and confirm upcoming parties
Work the café area, including preparing coffee drinks and café items (training provided)
Monitor inventory, complete inventory reports, and notify management when supplies are low
Keep stock, storage, and supply areas organized at all times
Occasionally run off-site business errands (such as picking up cakes or café supplies)
Assist with party-related tasks as needed, including preparing party rooms during slower Open Play periods
Help with balloon décor and setup, including balloon arches (experience preferred; training provided)
Assist with additional day-to-day operational tasks as needed to help the space run smoothly
Scheduling & Hours
This is a part-time position with weekday daytime shifts. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on business needs, party schedules, seasonal demand, and staff availability.
On some days, shifts may end earlier than scheduled if Open Play concludes before 6:00 PM or if party setup requires schedule adjustments.
Occasional shifts may be offered to existing team members.
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Must be 18 years or older
Fun, friendly, and energetic personality
Strong customer service and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, child-focused environment
Ability to multitask and work independently
Willing to take initiative and proactively complete tasks
Open to sharing ideas and contributing creatively to the business
Comfortable working the café and making coffee drinks (training provided)
Valid driver’s license required (for occasional business errands)
Must be available Monday–Friday or at least 4 weekdays
Experience with balloon décor or event setup a plus
Prior childcare, hospitality, or customer service experience a plus
